Advanced Care involves an AVS-licensed vet doctor via live video who can formally diagnose and prescribe — activated when Basic Care determines it's clinically necessary.
Yes. ConnectPaw operates in full compliance with the AVS (Animal & Veterinary Service) guidelines and the Vet Practice Bill. All consults are logged, vet credentials are verified, and we maintain clear boundaries between teleadvice/teletriage and telemedicine that requires a Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR).
Live video — never text chat. Our vets need to actually see your pet to assess symptoms accurately. It's the closest thing to a clinic visit, without the drive.
If our vet professional determines your pet needs immediate physical emergency care, they'll direct you to the nearest emergency clinic right away — and your ConnectPaw consult fee is waived. Your pet's safety always comes first.
